Richard A. Mumma, 63, a former Doylestown resident and vice president of an industrial-machinery company, died Tuesday at the HCA Medical Center in Port St. Lucie, Fla.
Mr. Mumma had worked for the Colmar-based Capital Controls Co. for 15 years. Previously, he had worked in product management for Fisher & Porter Co. in Hatboro, where he lived at the time.
Born and raised in Allentown, he graduated from Drexel University in 1950. He served the Army during World War II and was discharged as a first lieutenant. He was a mason.
He retired in 1982 and moved to Port St. Lucie.
Surviving are his wife, Kathryn Jane Martindaly Mumma; sons, Eric B. and Christopher S., and a daughter, Kathryn Jane Hyatt
