Clement Koser died in a terrible freight train wreck on the Pennsylvania Railroad. Two trains met in a head-on collision at the Brandywine bridge east of Downingtown, Pa. Clement Koser was the fireman on one of the trains, which was tossed off the bridge and down an embankment. He was crushed under the tank.
--------------------
No youn man in the upper end of Harriaburg was better or more generally known that Clem. Kosure, as he was familiarly know by his comrades. Of a quiet and retiring disposition, his worth was known by his asction as a man. No one was kinder or more affectionate as a father, brother, husband or son, and the untimely and sudden taking away of a life that promised so much of usefulness as Clem's did is sad in the extreme. But twenty -six years of age, with a wife and two children to mourn his loss, he leaves only the remembrance of what he was and waht he would have been. The bells are tollin for a fireman and a man, but many, many days will come and go before the memory of Clem. Kosure will be effaced from the rolls of honest, reliable young manhood. He was an example for young men - more cannot be said.
