Samuel Mock Mumaw
Samuel Mock Mumaw, aged 28 years, of 17 Elm street, died at the State Hospital last evening at 6:10 from a heart condition from which he had been ailing for the past seven weeks. The deceased had been a patient at the State Hospital for three weeks for treatment.
Mr. Mumaw as an estimable citizen in this community, having been an active worker at St. John's P.M.Church. He had been employed as conductor for the Lehigh Traction Company for the past eight years and enjoyed a large circle of friends.
Mr. Mumaw was a member of St. John's P.M. church and was affiliated with the Volunteer Bible Class of that congregation. He was also affiliated with Hazleton Council, No. 258, O.of I. A.
He is survived by his wife and one son, John. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mumaw, and the following brothers and sisters, all of Conyngham, also survive; Paul, William, and Emily, and one brother, John, of this city, also survives.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed.

Samuel M. Mumaw
The funeral of Samuel M. Mumaw, of 17 East Elm street, was conducted at 2:30 yesterday. Services were held in St. John's P.M. church, the pastor, Rev. William H. Russell, officiating. A chorus from the Volunteer Men's Bible Class, of St. John's Sunday School, of which Mr. Mumaw was an active member sang, "Lead Kindly Light" and "It Is Well With My Soul". Interment was made in the Vine street cemetery. The pall bearers were: Howard Cressman and Thomas Hawke, representing the Volunteer Bible Class; William H. Boyer and Melvin Paisley, representing Council No. 258, I.O. of A. and Morton Bray and Arthur Zerfoss from the Lehigh Traction Company where Mr. Mumaw was employed.
