"He was a member of the Center United Methodist Church of Waterfall and a former treasurer and trustee at the church. He was also a life member of the Hustontown Area Volunteer Fire Comp any. He retired in 1989 from JLG Industires. Prior to that, he was a self-employed truck driver for 11 years. He had been a school bus operator and farmer. He was a veteran of WWII and served with the U.S. Army. He was a member of the American Legion in Hummelstown, PA. Two brothers preceded him in death."

"HARRISONVILLE, Pa. - Nathan R. Henry, 73, of HCR 74, died Friday, Jan. 3, 1997, at Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg, Pa. Born Aug. 21, 1923, in Clear Ridge, Pa., he was the son of Smith and Martha Ramsey Henry. He was employed by JLG Industries, McConnellsburg until his retirement in 1989. Prior to that he was a self-employed truck driver for 11 years. He had also been a school bus operator and a farmer. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during World War II. He was a member of Center United Methodist Church, Waterfall , Pa., where he was a former treasurer and trustee. He also was a member of the American Legion, Hummelstown, Pa.; and a life member of Hustontown Area Volunteer Fire Co. He is survived by his wife, Bernita Cutchall Henry, whom he married on Jan. 9, 1945; one daughter, Hope Clark of Swissvale, Pa.; one son, Nathan Henry II of Hustontown; three sisters, Lois Morton of St. Thomas, Pa., Carolyn Mills of Hustontown and Doris Jean Hohman of McConnellsburg; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers. Services will be held Monda y at 2 p.m. at M. R. Brown Funeral Home, Hustontown. Pastor George Clippinger will officiate. Burial will be in Center Cemetery, Waterfall. Friends may call today from 2 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday."
