For reasons known only to her, Mildred cleaned out the Kingrey family home as soon as Ella Wonner Kingrey died in 1958, and appropriated many of the family belongings (furniture, china, photos, etc.) (Some furniture was also in the possession of Ivan and Glenna Kingrey). Mildred and her daughter June, who never married, led a rather reclusive life and did not have much contact with the rest of the family. They died fairly near each other in time, but without wills. Their possessions were sold at auction. My parents (Virgil and Opal) attended, and were able to purchase the family Bible of Henry Wonner and Susan Searer, which I now have. Other family members (Henry and Ina Apple) got a few things as well. Most was sold to strangers. For example, the framed marriage certificate of Will and Ella was sold to a man from Californa who only wanted the frame but refused to let family members have the certificate.
Died in a long-term care facility in Miami Co., OH
Burial: Greenville Creek Cemetery, Newberry Twp., Miami Co., OH
