Catherine left a Will which was proved on March 12, 1814. The will was written on April 17, 1813
Will - Catharine Mumma, Deceased
This will being written in the German language, the same is duly proved and the translation thereof into the English language is in the words following, to wit, --
In the name of God Amen, I Catharine Mumma of Rapho Township in the County of Lancaster and the state of Pennsylvania being old and sick of body but of sound memory and understanding and calling to mind the uncertainty of human life I therefore make this as my last will and testament in manner and form following. First, it is my will and I order that all my just debts and funeral expenses shall be paid as soon as conveniently may be after my decease.
Item, it is my will and I order that my three children, ESTHER MUMA, ABRAHAM MUMA and DAVID MUMA shall inherit equal shares one as much as the other out of my estate.
Item, it is my will and I order that my plantation or piece of land theron I now live situate in the aforesaid Township and County containing six acres, more or less, shall be sold by my hereafter named executors as soon as they find it convenient after my decease to the hightest and best bidder and I do hereby impower my executors or ther executors or administrators to make and give a good deed of conveyance for the same as if I had signed and ______ the same myself.
Item, it is my will and I order that my goods household and kitchen furniture and other articles shal be sold at public vendue by my executors as soon as conveniently may be after my decease, excepting all of my wearing apparel my three children shall divide them in equal shares among themselves.
And lastly I do nominate and make my two friends John Strickler and Abraham Reiff executors of this my last will and testament making hereby null and void all others by me heretofore made acclaiming this and no other to be my last will and testemant. Witness my hand and seal the seventeenth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirteen.

Signed, sealed and pronounced and declared by the same Catherine Mumma as her last will and testament in the presence of us, John Lemon, Abraham Fuchs.

On the 7th of June, 1813, the administrators of Catharine's estate took an inventory of her goods and Chattles. The inventory was submitted to the Registers Office of Lancaster County on 12 March, 1814
The estate was valued at 49 pounds, 10 shillings and 7 pence. In addition, there was a note due by her son, David Mumma in the amount of 7 pounds, 10 shillings.
The appraisers were Abraham Fox and Johannes (Lemon?). The signatures are in German. Johannes (Strickland?) and Abraham Reiff also sign the document in German with original signatures.
