I. Richard Mumaw, 52, of Blue Ball, died Friday at Ephrata Community Hospital after a stroke. Born in Ohio, he was the son of the late Irvin and Arline Becker Mumaw. He graduated from Conestoga Valley High School. His last employment was as a spice batcher for Victor F. Weaver Inc., New Holland. He earlier worked for the former Tri-Town Super Thrift, Leola. Richard attended the New Holland Church of the Nazarene and formerly was a member of Stumptown Mennonite Church. He loved to cook and catered various functions for his friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother Allen, and was the last of his immediate family.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday at 1 PM from the New Holland Church of the Nazarene, 428 Ranck Ave., New Holland. Interment: in Millersville Mennonite Cemetery. There will be no viewing, however, a visitation will take place from noon till 1 PM on Wednesday at the church. Kindly omit flowers.
