Hazel E. Mumaw Burnside 78, Mooresville, died Wednesday, April 14, 2004. She was born June 7, 1925 in Piqua, Ohio, to the late Edward F. and Rebecca (Harden) Mumaw. She married Clarence "Tub" E. Burnside on July 25, 1944; he survives. She resided in Mooresville for 52 years, Piqua, Ohio for 24 years, and Indianapolis for 2 years. She was a homemaker and enjoyed her family. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 16 in Nebo Memorial Park, Martinsville, Fr. Rick Eldred officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Survivors include her husband; 7 children: Chie Chie Boles, Gail McClusky, both of Brooklyn; Melody Boles, Rebecca "Becky" Samuels, both of Mooresville; Bud Burnside of Mooresville; John "Doc" Burnside and Tonja Blaschke of Mooresville; 17 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Juni Mumaw of Piqua, OH and Basil Mumaw of Middleton, IN; and two sisters, Ollie Jones of Houston, OH and Evelyn Sheeks of Columbus, OH.
