Carole (Moomaw) Schons passed away March 24, 2014, at age 95. Born in Hubbard, raising her family was her life's work. She has left behind sons, Greg, Doug and Jeff; daugh- ters-in-law, Vickee and Mary; grandchildren, Michele, Angela, Julie and Peter; many great-grand- children; nieces; and neph- ews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Schons; and siblings, Jack Moomaw, Iris Hixson and Max Moomaw. A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 5, 2014, at the Pelican Pub and Brewery in Pacific City. All who knew her are invited to attend.
