She is named in her father's 1856 Will. However, both she and her husband are deceased by the time David dies in 1867. Her 4 children are named and are given equal shares. The estate distribution papers were filed in the February term of 1870 and state the following -
"Polly Mummaw, formerly married to Andrew Shaufler, deceased, and leaving issue to wit: Mariah Shaufler, of age in Westmoreland Co., Pa. Jacob Shaufler a minor living in Westmoreland Co.; Elizabeth Shaufler a minor living in Indiana Co.,' Abraham Shaufler a minor living in Fayette Co., PA, Daniel Pershing of Fayette Co., guardian of Shaufler heirs., Jacob Pfeinder deceased."
