Notes:
Koher John D, son of Christian M. and Esther Mumma Koher, was born Nov. 3, 1851 near Canal Dover, Ohio, and departed this life Dec. 23, 1927, aged 76 years 2 month and 20 days. He was the 6th child in a family of 7 boys and 2 girls, all of whom preceded him in death except Mirtin M. Koher of this community. About 1866 he married Eva G. Boyce of Wichita, Kansas, who preceded him in death. Most of his life was spent in Wichita. During later years he lived in the home of Mrs. Thomas W. Smith. Funeral was at Indian Village Saturday. Burial, Indian Village Cemetery. Noble County Democrat 12-29-1927
