Margaret Agatha Largent, 95, of Sikeston, MO, died Feb. 25, 2006, at Clearview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Sikeston.
Born Oct. 21, 1910, in Gideon, MO, daughter of the late Martin VanBuren and Elizabeth M. Atteberry Mumma, for over 50 years she was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Sikeston where she was active in the United Methodist Women's Circle II, Women's Civic Club, volunteered at Scott County blood drives and enjoyed her bridge clubs.
On April 29, 1932, she married Louie Rice Largent who preceded her in death August 4, 1974.
She is survived by: one son and daughter-in-law, James D. and Carol Largent; one daughter and son-in-law, Mary Lou and Jimmy "Chunk" Johnson; one brother, Bill Mumma; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston where services were conducted with the Rev. Harold Norton officiating.
Burial followed in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Kevin Largent, Ellis Largent, Charles Largent, Doug Johnson, Frank Babcock and Tim Ganboa.
