Arza Mumma
MUMMA, Arza L. 91 of Dayton, Ohio went to be with the Lord July 14, 2007. He was born October 15, 1915 to Melvin and Della Mumma. Arza was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn P. Mumma, brother Harlan Mumma, and his parents. Arza had resided at Bethany Lutheran Village in Dayton, Ohio since 1985. Arza was an avid Radio Ham Operator, a Volunteer Fireman for Jefferson Twp., was active in the Boy Scouts as a councilman, and he farmed for over 35 years. Arza retired from the Ohio Department of Transportation, and was a faithful father and husband for 64 years. He will be missed by many. He is survived by; two sons, Arza L. Mumma Jr. of Fairview Heights, IL, Arthur L. Mumma of Angola, IN; one daughter, Mary E. Emrick of New Lebanon, OH; Seven grandchildren, John Mumma, Diane Wakabayashi, Jennifer Mumma, Eric Mumma, Heather Everage, Kelly Dale, and David Emrick; Five great grandchildren, Hayden Dale, Landen Dale, Nicholas Emrick, Nate Emrick, and Morgan Everage. Funeral Arrangements: Visitation will be at the Rogers Funeral Home in New Lebanon on Tuesday July 17, 2007, at 10:00 AM followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made to Bethany Lutheran Village.
