I could not find Nellie in 1940 census. I have one note which says she and her son live at 48 1/2 pleasant Street, Wellsville, NY. Apparently Joseph was the hotel manager of the Hotel Fassett in Wellsville. He graduated from Otterbein College. In the 1940 census, Joseph has moved back to Dayton Ohio, is married and has two children.
