Charles died at the Sunnyview Nursing Home, Trenton, Missouri, where he had been a resident for over a year.
Charles was a member of the Liberty Chapel Christian Church, south of Trenton, where funeral services were held under the direction of the Blackmore-Whitaker Funeral Home of Trenton, Missouri. Burial was in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens, north of Trenton.
He and Bertha were married at Farmersville, Livingston County, Missouri on 30 Mar 1910. They lived all of their married life and engaged in general farming in Grundy County, Missouri.
