Frances L. Mumma
87, of Springfield went to be with the Lord June 4, 2004 in the Ohio Masonic Home. She was born September 7, 1916 in New Carlisle, Ohio, the daughter of William F. and Mary E. (Ellis) Williams. Mrs. Mumma, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, was a member of Central United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, and Eastern Star Home City 258. She is survived by her three daughters and sons-in-law, Wilma and Dave Wilson of Columbus, Ohio, Marjorie Ricker of Las Vegas, Nevada, Lois J. and Darroll Stroble of Springfield; brother Ben Williams of New Carlisle; sister, Savannah R. Evilsizor of Venice, Florida; ten grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy H. Mumma; three brothers, Ellis, Carlton, and Donald Williams; sister, Mary Roberts. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Fricay in the RICHARDS RAFF& DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME, with Eastern Star services to take place at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service is at 2 p.m. Saturday in the memorial home with Rev. Keith Rhoden officiating. Burial will follow in New Carlisle Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
