Died on Sabbath, March 26th, Mrs. Elizabeth Mumma, aged 73 years, 5 months and 22 days.
The funeral services were held at the church here and conducted by Rev. Mr. Kreider, assisted by Rev. T. F. Bushong. The remains were interred in Ferncrest cemetery. Thus has fallen one of the oldest settlers of our county and one beloved and esteemed by all who knew her; a faithful and exemplary Christian, she died full of years and faith in her Saviour.
Grandmother Mumma was the mother of Henry Mumma, living a little north of this village with whom she made her home since the death of her husband, some ten years ago.
