Mrs. Ann Mumaw Died This A.M.
---Mrs. Ann E. Mumaw, 219 N. Eagle, widow of Arlo A. Mumaw, died this morning at 6:30 a.m. in the American Legion hospital where she had been a patient for a month. She had been in ill health for several months.
---She was born Dec. 16, 1889 in Bay City, a daughter of Michael and Ellen Mallon Ryan. She resided in Jackson during most of her youth and was a 1907 graduate of St. John's high school.
---She came to Marshall with her parents and was married June 17, 1913 to Arlo A. Mumaw and they made their home in Marshall. He died May 8, 1968.
---She was a member of St. Mary's church, the Altar Rosary Society, the Catholic Daughters and was for many years a member of the board of trustees of Oaklawn hospital and the Monday club.
---She is survived by one son, Robert of Marshall, one sister, Mrs. C. Z. (Margaret) Potter of Jackson, five grand-children and three great-grand-children.
Funeral Services
MUMAW, MRS. ANN E.
219 N. Eagle
Rosary services for Mrs. Ann E. Mumaw, 219 N. Eagle, who died this morning, will be recited at the Kesler funeral home at 8 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Fr. Julius Hengesbach will conduct requiem mass in St. Mary's church on Friday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery. Friends who wish to do so may make memorial contributions to the St. Mary's school memorial fund.
