near the Valley church, Botetourt Co, Va., Sister Anna Denton, aged 84 years, 5 months and 14 days. The subject of this notice is the mother of Bro. T. C. Denton, and sister of our elder, B. F. Moomaw. The funeral was preached by Eld. Jonas Graybill and D. N. Eller, from I Cor. 15:57. She was anointed a few weeks previous to her death. The writer has known her for thirty years,
and I believe I voice the sentiment of our whole congregation when I say she was a model sister in every respect. I have often solicited our members for different things, and Sister Denton, on every occasion, responded liberally. Her words were so well seasoned that everyone was favorably impressed who talked with her.
