WILLIAM R. MUMMA
William R. Mumma, 65, Port Richey, Fla., formerly of Lancaster Died Wednesday eve at Green County Memorial Hospital, Catskill, N.Y. of natural causes.
A retired truck driver for M & G Transport Co., Perth Amboy, NJ. He was a Coast Guard Veteran of World War II. Mumma was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars. Port Richey, Fla. and Shippensburg American Legion Post.
The husband of Bessie Strayer Mumma, he was born in Lancaster, a son of the late Alvin & Fannie Carr Mumma.
Surviving in addition to his wife are four sons: Robert T., Spring , TX.; William, Port Richey, Fla.; George E., Lewisville, TX.; and Roger E., Brookville, Fla.; and a daughter, Nancy Jane Davis, New Port Richey, Fla.; 22 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; three brothers: Paul, Raymond, and Lester, all from Lancaster; four sisters: May Elder Mary Shultz, and Gladys, wife of James Reynolds, all of Lancaster; and Dorothy, wife of Norman Ressler, Birdsboro.
