Shirley M. Haldeman, 62, of 2133 Oak Hollow Drive, Columbia, died Thursday evening at Lancaster General Hospital - Susquehanna Division after a brief illness. She was a homemaker. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Alvin P. Sr. and Lucy Mae Snyder Mumma. Her husband, Frank R. Haldeman Sr., died in 1993. Surviving are two sons, Frank Jr., husband of Debra Haldeman of Columbia, and Donald of Lancaster; a daughter, Sherri of Lancaster; nine grandchildren; four brothers, Alvin P., husband of Darlene Mumma, and Richard, husband of Tina Mumma, both of Lancaster, Arthur, husband of Joyce Mumma of Wrightsville, and Melvin Mumma of Waynesburg; and three sisters, Betty, wife of Paul F. Coble, Ann, wife of Paul Yake, and Rose Booth, all of Lancaster. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Stacy, and a son, Harold. (Lancaster New Era - Jan 30, 1999)
