WILLIAMSPORT - Lillian Viola Mumma, 89, of 16505 Virginia Ave., died Wednesday, March 7, 2001, at Homewood Retirement Center in Williamsport. Born April 26, 1911, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Jessie T. and Edith Smith Young. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver R. Mumma, in 1975. She was a housewife. She was a member of John Wesely United Methodist Church in Hagerstown. She was a member of AARP. She is survived by two brothers, Benjamin Franklin Young of Williamsport and Austin Thomas Young of Salisbury, Md.; nieces and nephews. Private graveside services will be held in Riverview Cemetery in Williamsport. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Homewood Retirement Center. There will be no viewing. The family requests the omission of flowers. Memorial donations may be made to Homewood Retirement Center, 16505 Virginia Ave., Williamsport, MD 21795."
