Ann J. Mumma, born August 3, 1928 in Boerne, Texas, went to be with our Lord January 21, 2010. Ann is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, William S. "Butch" Mumma, her sister, Lucille B. Gonzales and brother, Frank Cerda. She is continued to be loved and remembered by her children; Esther and Manuel Maldonado, Arthur Aguirre, Victor Aguirre, Estella Vara, Katherine Melchor, and Kenneth Rene Mumma. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. Ann was a member of the Boerne Crusaders Club, American Legion Auxiliary and a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Ann was a Past President for three years of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Unit 4700. Ann was an avid volunteer of the Audie Murphy VA Hospital and the Blanco State Park. Visitation will be held Monday, January 25, 2010 from 6 - 9 pm at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North with a Rosary recitation at 7 pm. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at 10 am at the Fred J. Tips Mausoleum Chapel located at Mission Burial Park North at 20900 IH-10 West.
