"Hebron Mumma Dies at Age 85
J. Hebron Mumma, 85, of 403 W. James St., died unexpectedly Friday evening in the Lancaster General Hospital. He had been under the care of a physician. The husband of Grace W. Frey Mumma, a son of the late Samuel M. and Elizabeth Brubaker Mumma.
He lived in Lancaster county his entire life, and was a graduate of the Millersville Normal School. For many years, he bought and sold tobacco in a business founded by his father. After selling that business, he was affiliated with Penn Dairies Inc until his retirement.
He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Lancaster.
Beside his wife, he is survived by one son, James H., Rye, N.Y.; five grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Grace Grissinger, Maryland, and a number of nieces and nephews."
