Robert R. Mumma, 70, 314 E. Main Street, Mechanichburg, died yesterday at home.
He was a retired chemist for the state Department of Agriculture; developer of Robelva Farms, Silver Spring Twp.; and a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Mechanicsburg, the Cumberland County Democratic Century Club, Zembo Temple and its luncheon club, Harrisburg Consistory, American Chemical Society, Harrisburg Organ Society, Mechanicsburg Museum Association and the Corvair Club of Harrisburg. He was a life member of American Legion Post 109, VFW Post 6704 and Eureka Lodge F&AM No., 302, all in Mechanicsburg, the Cumberland County Historical Society and the Friends of Pieace Church; an honorary member of Washington Fire Company and the Mechanicsburg Club; a graduate of Muhlenberg College; and a World War II Army veteran.
Surviving are several cousins.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in his church. Burial will be in St. Joh's Cemetery, Hampden Twp.,
Viewing will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Myers Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg, is handling arrangements.
