Lorraine E. Mumma Alden Dukehart, 69, a Lancaster County native who lived at 255 Antietam Drive, Waynesboro, died Friday at Gettysburg Hospital after an illness.
Formerly of Gettysburg, she was the wife of Charles R. Dukehart, with whom she marked their first wedding anniversary on Sept. 4. Her first husband, Harold R. Alden, died in 1991.
Mrs. Dukehart was a clerk at a florist shop in Gettysburg. She also worked for House of Bender at the Book and Card Corner, Gettysburg, for 15 years. She retired in 1993.
A member of St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church, Waynesboro, she was a former member of St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, Gettysburg. She was a member of the Legion of Mary in the Harrisburg Diocese.
Mrs. Dukehart was also a member of the national American Association of Retired Persons.
Born in Lititz, she was the daughter of the late William Earl and Anna Wertman Mumma. A 1943 graduate of J.P. McCaskey High School, she moved to Gettysburg in 1966.
She is survived by her husband and three sisters: Eleanor Miller and Evelyn Hull, both of Lancaster, and Doris Rowe, Quarryville.
