MUMMA, John W., 73, plasterer, lifelong resident of Dover, died at his home Wednesday after a three-week illness of apoplexy.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Sarah Mumma of Dover; five sons, Henry Mumma of Canton, William and Albert, all of Dover, and Jesse of Warren; three daughters, Mrs. George Burkholder of Route 4, Dover, Mrs. Nelson Hurd of Warren, and Mrs. Charles Burkholder of Freedom Station.
Funeral services will be held Friday at the home at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be in Dover.
(Note that above omits fifth son, Simon Peter Mumma, who lived in Dover until his death in 1959.)
