Dr. Marilyn Mumma Troth Brugger, 76, of Wilmington, NC, and Springfield, Ohio, passed away Thursday evening, October 20, 2011, in Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born in Springfield, August 1, 1935, daughter of Thebert Florey and Cora Maude (Loos) Mumma. Marilyn retired as Professor Emerita from Radford University, Radford, Virginia. She is survived by husband, Robert E. Brugger; sons Andrew Michael Troth with partner Sherry Kessel of Roanoke, VA, and William Karl Troth of Wilmington, NC; daughter, Lisa Kristine Troth; grandchildren, Harrison Kesling, Kristine Kesling, and Benjamin Johnson.
A memorial service will be held at the Inland Greens Club House, 6135 Inland Greens Drive, Wilmington, NC, on Saturday, November 5, 2011, at 11 a.m. Memorials may be made to the Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, 1401 S.
