David B. Mumma, of Erie, died of an apparent heart attack Thursday, Oct. 20, 2005, in Casper, Wyo. He was 54.
The son of Ralph Mumma and Betty Mattocks Mumma, he was born Sept. 14, 1951, in Troy, Ohio. He married Rose Dunwoody on March 14, 1987, in Denver.
Mr. Mumma moved to Erie in 1999.
He worked as a professional truck driver for Schneider Trucking, and as a pre-press technician for Johnson Printing in Boulder for 13 years and for Intermountain Color in Boulder for three years. He was a local race car driver and enjoyed fishing.
"He was a devoted dad, loving husband and good friend," his family said.
Survivors include his wife, of Erie; a stepdaughter, Lynette Anderson, of Broomfield; a stepson, Jim Dunwoody, of Erie; and two sisters, Chris Dixon and Toni Roberts, both of Troy.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A funeral service was held. Crist Mortuary handled arrangements.
