DECATUR WOMAN TAKEN BY DEATH
DECATUR, Nov. 29? Mrs.. Elizabeth Knoll, 68, a lifelong resident of Decatur, died Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock In the American Legion hospital at Battle Creek following a three years' illness.
Mrs. Knoll was born April 2, 1875 in Decatur, the daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Silas Mumaugh. He husband, Albert, died in 1921. Surviving are a son, Silas, Decatur; a daughter, Mrs. Mac Stanley, Hamilton township; a brother, Charles Mumaugh, Decatur; two sisters, Mrs. Dora Meade, Decatur and Mrs. Ida Colby, Buffalo, N. Y. and five grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements have been set tentatively for Monday at 2 p.m. in the Newell funeral home, with Rev. D. W. Louwenaar, pastor of the First Reform church, officiating. Burial will be In Lakeside cemetery.
Mrs. Knoll was an aunt of Ward Knoll residing northwest of here whose death by shotgun wound this morning was believed a suicide.
