She is listed as Grace Mumma in the 1910 & 1920 census and Lova G. Mumma in the 1930 census.
It is unclear exactly who her parents were. There is a Grace Newcomer listed in the 1900 census living in the family of Melchior & Mary Newcomer, but the date of birth does not match. It is unclear is these are really her parents and the birth information is in error or her parents were another Newcomer. Review the 1880 & 1900 census shows that some members of the Newcomer family did migrate from Illinois to Nodaway county, MO and then returned to Illinois. Information from Catherine McGrew (her granddaughter) says that she was born in Arkoe, Nodaway Co., MO
