Clara Jane Mumaw, 86, of Drums, died Saturday at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Hazleton.
Born in Drums on January 9, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Cordelia (Mumaw) Thomas.
Clara was a kindhearted woman who loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them as often as possible. She was an avid reader and enjoyed square dancing.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents was her husband John Mumaw. son, John E. Mumaw Jr., sisters, Linda West and Jane Ann Boock, brother, Berton Thomas, and uncle Richard Thomas.
Surviving are her children, son, Thomas J. Mumaw and his wife Monica, sister, Dorothy Smith, brother, Ralph Thomas, Jr., several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A private funeral service and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
