Will of Peter Mumaw
I peter Mumaw of Frederick County, being sick and weak in body but of sound mind and disposing memory and calling to mind the uncertainity of human life and desirous to dispose of all my wordly estate that Goad has blest me with. I give and bequieth the same in manner following that is to say 1st, I desire that all my personal estate and all my right and interest in a tract of land lying in the Chesters ???, it being a part of my fathers estate be immediately sold after my demise and out of the money arising therfrom all my just debts and financial expenses be paid. Sould my estate prove sufficient and in case there be any overplus in money or property, real or personal after my just debts and funeral expensed be paid, I give all and every part thereof to my sister, Catherine Hass ??? of this my last will and testament hereby revolking all other or former wills heretofore made by me. In witness where of I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal, this twenty fifth day of April, one thousand eight hundred and twenty five.
