She was a former school librarian for Sidney Lanie Center, and an active member of the Displaced Homemaker Program at Santa Fe Community College for the past three years
She was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Audubon Society and Gainesville Garden Club, Geranium Circle. She enjoyed the outdoors, opera, classical music and theater.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul W Gunsaulies
Survivors include a daughter, Linda Gunsaulies of Renton, WA; a son Paul Gunsaulies of Jacksonville
