Daniel was the 6th child of Alice and 'Jiggs' Calvin Muma. He was the tallest of 4 sons. Tall and lanky we called him 'basketball legs' at times, and other times the potato man because when a toddler once he fell asleep with a baked potato in each hand and his head fell in his plate he was so tired from playing. He was very social and kind of loud and boisterous. He played the guitar and sang like some of his siblings. He loved his children and loved family life. Things were going well for him but he developed an abdominal aneurysm with complications he could not overcome. He was loved by his family and is missed. His daughter is to spread his ashes over over his favorite park, Woodlawn Park, in Portland, Oregon.
