Clifford "Roy" Muma, age 84, RR 3 Stratford passed away peacefully at the Stratford General Hospital on January 1, 2012. Born in Stratford, son of the late Howard and Ella (Hall) Muma. Roy worked at the CNR shops for many years while establishing the family farm in 1955.
Beloved husband of Margaret (Hartleib) Muma whom he married in Stratford on June 28, 1947. Loving father of Ken Muma (Diane), Stratford, Catherine McKenzie (Donald), Waterloo, Mary Orchard (Paul), Niagara Falls, Charles Muma, Stratford. Cherished grandfather of Patti Cook (Ron), Gary Muma (Stephanie), Matthew McKenzie (Kathlyn), Scott McKenzie (Jenny Walker), Stephanie Bonnick (Stewart), Jennifer Gracey (Nathan), Ashley Burke (Ryan), Stacie Steele (Mike). Lovingly remembered by nine great grandchildren. Dear brother of Glen Muma (Pearl), Stratford. Also survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and their families.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by sons Gary and John Steven and by brother Ken Muma. Friends and relatives may call at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron St., Stratford on Thursday January 5th from 7-9 p.m. and on Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12 noon. Interment will follow in Avondale Cemetery.
