Pearl M. Mumma, 92, died at 12:13 p.m. Monday, March 9, 2015, at the York Lutheran Home in the Village at Sprenkle Drive. She was the wife of the late Charles W. Mumma. Born January 1, 1923, in Adams County, she was one of nine children of the late George I. and Bertha Mae (Sell) Reindollar. Mrs. Mumma was retired from York Hospital, where she had worked as an information receptionist for 20 years. She was a member of the former Bethany United Church of Christ, and had served on the Salvation Army Auxiliary for 30 years. She also was a volunteer for the Red Cross for 14 years. Mrs. Mumma is survived by two sons, Charles Thomas Mumma, of York, and David I. Mumma and his wife Julia, of York; a granddaughter, Margaret G. Mumma; and a sister, Ruth A. Lentz of West York. A graveside service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday, March 13, 2015, at Stewartstown Cemetery, with the Rev. Ronald J. Oelrich, Pastor of Faith United Church of Christ, officiating.
