MUMMA (SNEDEN) - Celia Mumma, age 86, went to be with her Lord, Saturday, December 18, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Mumma; her brother, Robert W. Sneden; and her sister, Marjorie East. Celia will be lovingly remembered by her children, Marilyn (Jamie) Marrah, David (Barbara) Mumma, Christine (Jim) Potter, Pat (Don) Shafffer; her ten grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and her brother, Lee (Connie) Sneden. Celia graduated from Butterworth School of Nursing. She was a Cadet Nurse and served at Percy Jones in Battle Creek. Celia was a former Administrator of Brookcrest Nursing Home. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, at the Cook Funeral Home in Byron Center, 2067 84th St. SW. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday at Hudsonville Congregational United Church of Christ, 4950 32nd Ave. Pastor Eric Thorsen will be officiating. Interment will be at Grandville Cemetery. In honor of Celia, contributions may be made to Annetta Jansen Ministry Center - Project Hope or Mel Trotter Ministries.
