MUMMA AMOS 1923-12-14 MCDONOUGH , MACOMB
Amos Mumma of East Calhoun street, who died at the Holmes Hospital Friday morning following a long illness with heart trouble, was 58 years, 1 month, and 12 days old at the time of his death.
Funeral services will be held from the Baptist church Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, interment will be in Oakwood cemetery. Rev. Westrate will officiate.
Deceased was born Nov. 2, 1865, in the state of Ohio, and removed with his parents to Missouri in 1871, and to Macomb in 1892. In 1890 he was married to Miss Christina Moore who survives him. He was a member of the police force for two years but was a plasterer by trade and followed that trade most of his life.
He was well known through-out the community and was liked by all. He was a member of the Modern Woodmen of America.
Besides his wife he leaves two brothers, Dell Mumma of Joy, and Dr. Elmer Mumma of Boulder, Colo.
