Paul "Dick" Giffin
KINGSTON: Paul L. "Dick" Giffin, 79, of Kingston, went to be with his Lord January 8, 2014 at his residence.
Born March 19, 1934 in Pickaway County. He was the son of the late George and Mary (Mumaw) Giffin.
He is survived by his wife, Esther (VanGundy) Giffin; sisters, Betty (Curtis) Caples and Pat (Don) Boler; brother, Lewis Giffin; children, John Swank (Giffin), Sheldon (Judy) McManice, Barbie McManice, Connie (Chris) Wilkins, Bob Giffin, Malfus (Tim) Norman, Rick Giffin, Kim (Robert) VanGundy, Rick (Barb) VanGundy, Randy (Mary) BanGundy, Raymond (Pam) VanGundy and Roberta (Steve) Emerson; 34 grandchildren; 53 great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren; and by two special friends, David King and Suzanne Shaffer; beloved pets of the home Lucky, Tiny, Baby and Smokey.
Preceded in death by wife, Ruth (Griffey) Giffin, sisters, Elizabeth Kuhn, Mary Hettinger and Helen Giffin, brothers, George, William and Lee Eldon Giffin.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 13, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home with burial in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday from 2-4 and again from 6-8 p.m.
