ZANESVILLE -- Ethel May Wood, 86, of 1512 Maple Ave., died at 6:49 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 24, 2003, at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital.
Born Dec. 13, 1916, in Circleville, she was formerly employed by Ballas Egg and was a homemaker.
Mrs. Wood is survived by a son, Richard E. (Joan) Wood of Nashport; two brothers, Raymond Mumaw of Cannelville and Johnny (Theora) Mumaw of Zanesville; a granddaughter, Jo Ann Copen of Zanesville and great-grandchildren, Anthony James Wood and Stephanie Marie Wood.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Thomas Wood; her parents, John Wesley and Annie Oiler Mumaw and several brothers and sisters.
Calling hours will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at DeLong-Baker and Lanning Funeral Home, 56 S. Fifth St., Zanesville. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
