Marlin Hert Dies At Home

Marlin J. Hert, farmer, Springville, R. R. 2, died at his home at 8 a.m. this morning. He had been in failing health for the past four years. He would have been 64 years old on December 26.
A native of Martin County, he was the son of James N. and Luella (Moomaw) Hert. He married Nellie Crane March 27, 1918, she survives.
Funeral arrangements are set for Sunday at 2 p.m. at Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter mortuary. Burial will be in the Springville Christian cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary after noon Saturday.
He was a member of the Mountain Springs Church of Christ.
Besides the widow he is survived by a son, Nolan Hert, Springville, R. R. 2 three daughters, Mrs. Worth Pearson of Springville, Mrs. Charles Mitchell of Edinburg and Mrs. James May of Springville and nine grandchildren. Two brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
