In addition to Joseph's marriage woes, his birth and death dates are also confusing from information Greg Tucker found. Joseph?s death certificate indicates birth in 1890 in Peru IN, and death in 1953 in Delaware County IN. His 1953 obituary says he was 63 at death, supporting a birth in 1890. WWII draft registration, the marriage records above, and at least one Social Security record have 1891. WWI draft registration and 1900 Census have birth in 1894, and he claimed to be 22 on his son?s 1916 birth certificate, supporting 1994. Very hard to dtermine accurate dates.
