* Burial of a Farmer *
"Jacob Mumma, a prominent farmer of Susquehanna township, residing two and a half miles east of the Pennsylvania State lunatic hospital, died on Monday last and was buried yesterday at Shoop's church cemetery. Deceased was a nephew of Hon. David Mumma, of this city. The funeral was largely attended."
From this obit of his son, we are able to deduce that Jacob and David Mumma were brothers.
In 1880, Jacob and Caroline are living in Dauphin County, Lower Paxton Twp. Dist 101. There are 3 children living with them.
