Notes:
NOTICE: Through DNA testing of men with the Mummy\Mummey\Mumy surname, I have been able to determine that the original surname of this family was MUMMY and became altered to MUMMA when Samuel Mumy enlisted in the Civil War in Harrisburg. He could not read nor write. Therefore, these descendants are not "genetically" related to the MUMMA family although that is the surname they use. - Doug Mumma doug@mumma.org

Catherine Henrietta Mumma born 4-6-1875 in Wiconisco, PA. and died 1-16-1967 in Lykens, PA. She was married to Benjamin Ferree. According to her death certificate her parents were Henry Mumma and Mary Orndorf. The 1880 census shows Henry Mumma's wife to be Alice. Possibly an error or Alice was a nickname.
In the 1910 census, Catherine is listed as having given birth to 9 children and only 5 are living at that time.
