KENNETH E. MUMMA, 80 MOUNT MORRIS - Kenneth E. Mumma, 80, of Mount Morris died Sunday, March 4, 2007, in Pinecrest Manor Nursing Home. Born May 26, 1926, in Pine Creek Township, Olge County, the daughter to John and Grace (Boethe) Mumma. Graduate of Oregon High School. Married Betty Messer on Oct. 4, 1974, in Evangelical Free Church. He was a lifelong general farmer, retiring in 2004. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean War. Member of Evangelical Free Church, Ogle County Farm Bureau and Mount Morris Moose Family Center No. 1551. Survivors include his wife, Betty; special cousins, Arnold, Margaret, Jerry (Barbara) Brooks; special friends, Monte and Judy Nixon and Carol Davis. Predeceased by his parents. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 8, in Evangelical Free Church, with the Rev. Tracy Singleton pastor officiating. Interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Park, Dixon. No visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Mount Morris Evangelical Free Church or Pinecrest Manor's new wheelchair van fund.
