This unidentified branch has been assigned the number U-70. Samuel first appears in Leacock Township of Lancaster County. He migrates to Fountain County, IN around 1851 where he dies in 1860. He cannot sign his name on his Will and the surname is spelled as MUMMA
It would be helpful if any male descendants of Samuel with the Mumma(w) surname would be willing to provide their DNA for analysis so that we might be able to determine to which immigrant Mumma this branch descends. Please contact Doug Mumma - doug@mumma.org

This entry is also found in the census records and she is living close to the other Mummaws, but it is unclear who she is. A Sarah is not listed in Samuel's will. It is possible she was one of his children, but died prior to the writing of Samuel's will. I suspect that she is not his child or she would have likely moved with the family to

Samuel wrote his will on April 30, 1860 and his will was filed on 19 May 1860

His Will named his wife Mary, daughters: Mary Ann and Amanda, and sons Urias and Elhanan. 1/3 of his estate goes to his wife and the rest is left to his daughters, except he gave his two sons, $2 each. He does not state why he left his son's almost nothing.
Maria, his wife, died intestate on 10 Aug 1866 in Fountain County, IN
