Eva "Pete" White

Longtime Eagle Creek resident, Eva "Pete" White died at her home peacefully on Friday, May 30, 2008 from natural causes. She was 90.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, June 5, at the Estacada First Baptist Church. Private burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Gresham.
Eva Mumma Charles was born Sept. 9, 1917, in Gardiner, Mont. to Hohn and Eva (Bowman) Charles. She was reaided in Livingston, Mont. She later married Edward White on Oct 12, 1938 in Gardiner. In 1950, they moved to Eagle Creek and the Estacada area where they farmed and raised chickens.
In her earlier years, she enjoyed ceramics, the Estacada garden club, and really loved being a mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother.
Survivors include her sons, John "Jack" White and his wife Debi of Gresham' Eddie White and his wife "Mike" of Eagle Creek; Ronald White and his wife Jillian of Redmond, Ore.; daughter, Esther "Nikki" Guthu and her husband Mike of Eagle Creek; 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
