From her husband's find-a-grave
"The son of David & Mary Sarbaugh, in 1860 he was a shoemaker living in Tyrone Township, Adams County, Pennsylvania. He stood 5' 5" tall and had brown hair and brown eyes.
A Civil War veteran, he enlisted in Middletown (today's Biglerville), Adams County, August 12, 1862, mustered into federal service at Harrisburg August 22 as a private with Co. G, 138th Pennsylvania Infantry, and honorably discharged with his company June 23, 1865.
He married Anna unk. and fathered Edward (b. @1866), Anna Mary (b. @1868), William (b. @1871), Minnie (b. @1873), and Ellie (b. @1879). About 1878, he moved his family to Waterman, DeKalb County, Illinois.
