Medina Co. Gazette - Oct 18, 1918: While there has been only one death from (Spanish) influenza in Medina county, five of its soldier boys have died in various camps of the country. Two of these, Edward Mummaw, of Poe, who succumbed at Cincinnati, and Arhur Gordon, of Seville, at Camp Jackson, S. C., were mentioned in last week's Gazette.
